Since its first edition in 1959, the SCHMUCK special exhibition, which is presented at the Handwerk & Design exhibition, part of Internationale Handwerksmesse, has set the stage for contemporary jewellery as a universal language. Initiated by Herbert Hofmann, SCHMUCK continues to showcase the way goldsmiths and jewellery artists reflect on the pressing themes of our time, making each edition a unique and thought-provoking experience. 

Throughout those days, the fair will host significant exhibitions such as SCHMUCK, Frame, Talente, Exempla, and Modern Classic, alongside the prestigious awards: the Herbert-Hofmann-Prize, the Bavarian States Prize, and the Talente-Prize. Additionally, institutions like Die Neue Sammlung in the Pinakothek der Moderne will present Warwick Freeman’s retrospective, Hook Hand Heart Star. 

But what truly makes Munich Schmuck Fair unmissable is the vibrant energy that spills beyond the fairgrounds.
