Intro
The Schmuck Munich 2026, taking place from 4 to 8 March, stands as one of the most important international gatherings dedicated to contemporary jewellery. During these days, Munich becomes the epicentre of the global jewellery scene, welcoming collectors, gallerists, curators, and artists from all over the world. This guide brings together a curated selection of jewellery-related events happening across Munich and published on Klimt02, with the active participation of our members and audience.

Since its first edition in 1959, the SCHMUCK special exhibition—presented within Handwerk & Design as part of the Internationale Handwerksmesse—has played a central role in establishing contemporary jewellery as a universal artistic language. Initiated by Herbert Hofmann, SCHMUCK continues to reveal how goldsmiths and jewellery artists respond to the key questions and concerns of our time, making each edition both singular and intellectually engaging.

Throughout the week, visitors can explore major exhibitions such as SCHMUCK, FRAME, TALENTE, EXEMPLA, and Modern Classic, alongside prestigious awards including the Herbert Hofmann Prize, the Bavarian State Prize, and the Talente Prize. In parallel, institutions such as Die Neue Sammlung at the Pinakothek der Moderne will also present significant exhibitions across the city.

Yet what truly makes Munich Schmuck exceptional is the energy that unfolds beyond the fairgrounds. Galleries, artists, institutions, and schools activate the entire city with exhibitions and events, transforming Munich into a vibrant meeting point for jewellery lovers, collectors, and professionals alike.

You can consult the complete official online programme of jewellery events in Munich and download the Handwerk & Design official brochure, including the Munich city map and metro plan.

This year, Klimt02 highlights events involving: 11 Gallery members, 87 Artists members, 8 Institutions members and X Artworks.
