Intro
One of the ways to detect the level of creation, health, and strength of the art discipline, such as designer jewellery, can be seen when we look at the pieces awarded by the different entities, institutions, fairs, and awards in the sector that have been granted during the year.

In this Award Givings 2025 selection, we give you a compilation showing you the awards, pieces, and awarded artists published on Klimt02 in 2025. This collection offers you the chance to gauge the sector's pulse.

We encourage institutions and organizers to keep building strong frameworks for these calls, jurors to apply their criteria rigorously, and artists to continue pushing their work with dedication, intelligence, and vision. We also invite collectors, professionals, and art lovers to look closely and confidently at the works presented here.

Award Givings 2025 by Klimt02 brings together prizes granted to both emerging and established artists by public and private institutions, galleries, and schools. Though diverse in format and scope, all share one common goal: to recognise creativity, technical excellence, and the development of artistic careers.

An overview of 10 award programmes and 51 awarded artists, this edition offers a clear, global snapshot of the values, criteria, and directions shaping contemporary art jewelry today.

.
. In his essay “In Praise of Shadows” (1933), Jun’ichiro Tanizaki illustrates the relationship between sensory perceptions, portraying the traditional Japanese sweet Yôkan to reveal how ambient darkness can enhance its savoury experiences. Inspired by this remark, I have created a work on the relationship between light and shadow.
. This piece, which visually evokes the appearance of Yôkan, employs amber and buffalo horn. These organic materials symbolise the symbiotic relationship between Flora and Fauna, reflecting the harmony inherent in interconnected nature.
. The inspiration from traditional Japanese sweets is integral to my creative journey. Drawing from their aesthetics, I began creating art jewellery after over three decades of practising architecture and design, merging these disciplines into a tactile and wearable form of art.
