Intro
The Jewellery Departement, Object & Jewellery, of MAD Faculty in Hasselt(B) in collaboration with the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten and Sint Lucas Antwerpen kindly invite you to the Lecture of Ela Bauer.
Within the framework of the “Confrontations” lecture series organized by all departments of Jewelry Design/Silversmithing, Sint Lucas Antwerp, invites you to attend to a lecture being part of their research-project Afterschool.

Afterschool intends to offer a platform for knowledge-building and -exchanging in relation to the further professionalization within the field of contemporary jewelry. It therefore focuses on the different aspects of the artist’s practice and the requirements the designer or artist has for starting up this practice and/or for expanding it into a flourishing career.

The Jewellery Departement, Object & Jewellery, of MAD Faculty in Hasselt(B) in collaboration with the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten and Sint Lucas Antwerpen kindly invite you to the Lecture of Ela Bauer.

--------------------------

'My work is colored with the notion that everything evolves constantly. Nothing is clearly defined; events and “things” do not begin or end, they’re rather a momentary result of ongoing processes. Nevertheless, things do have a communicable meaning.
How does an object acquire it’s meaning? Colors and abstract forms, what do they mean?’
