DEADLINE: 17/09/2024
Join our Bombé Ring short course, led by acclaimed jeweller Bibi Cheung, to create larger, lightweight forms that are comfortable and elegant to wear.
Bombé rings, with their graceful curves and refined lines, will add a distinctive flair to your jewellery-making skills.
Under Bibi Cheung's expert guidance, explore traditional construction and forming techniques, while refining your soldering and hammering skills. Over four days at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London, immerse yourself in traditional bench work, creating a three-dimensional hollow ring using silver sheet.
Whether you're enhancing existing skills or learning new ones, this course will elevate your craftsmanship. By the end, you'll have crafted your own silver bombé ring, complete with a finger guard and possibly a set centre stone.
When: 1 October – 22 October 2024 (every Tuesday). 9.30am – 4.30pm
Cost: £649
>> Book HERE
