Every object can become a piece of contemporary jewellery: found objects, trash or broken tools can be transformed into precious jewels.
The focus of this course is to practice different brooch back and pin mechanisms and their application on different materials.
During the course different cold connections will be explained such as riveting, hinges and tension connections; in addition, we will learn the basics of small welding with the Puk3, to combine different materials without traditional soldering.
Brass & copper sheets along with steel wire for the pins will be provided.

Dates: Friday - 5 pm to 8 pm; Saturday and Sunday - 10 am to 6 pm.
Price: €350 +22%VAT.
Language: English.
Requirements: Students should bring their own tools. Previous jewellery making experience is required.
