Intro
Working in short intervals. Making quick decisions.

The wire___________________
The dot…...........………………....
Line and plane.
The soldering
and the flowers,
but also the metal,
thin as a breath
and with volume.
Creating islands of time and drawing,
oasis of soldering.
Letting go of ideas.
Relaxing. Tightening.
The hands going loose.
Finding ideas without searching.
Automatic working.
Making without thinking. Is that possible?
Beginning.

“Slow, slow, we have no time,” said Georg Tabori during a radio interview.
I sat in my workshop at my bench and soldered already for weeks on one piece. Spending time. Refining time. Working to time. Reading the Times. Having time and having no time. Soldering, sawing, setting stones, enamelling, forging, alone and together, for a long time. Spent half a year making bowls. From piece to piece. From day to day. Time passes. My work takes a lot of time. I am a part of my time.
