Learn how to naturally reduce pain in your hands or forearms, undo tech neck, release jaw or head tension in this 3-week series led by Emiko Oye, utilizing the MELT Method, Facial Gua Sha and Face Yoga.
All workshops are interactive, and are recorded for viewing at your own pace. Participants have recording access for 45 days.
Be proactive about the fascial health and strength of your upper body with quick treatments you can incorporate into your daily routine to release stuck stress, restore proper fluid flow, increase strength and rewire neural pathways to be pain free and feel more vibrant.
Each week will focus on a different area: Hands/Arms, Neck/Shoulders, Face/Head– working to destress, hydrate and strengthen, restore fascial health and improve neural pathways, and create more ease in the body.

About Emiko Oye:
emiko is a Certified MELT Method Instructor (Level 5), ERYT-200 Yoga Teacher, and established Art Jeweler working in LEGO, based in San Francisco, CA. Decades spent being an artist and jewelry business owner of emikooreware put her body through the ringer and into chronic pain – which led her to develop and share with others her signature blend of MELT, Facial Gua Sha and Face Yoga to help get out of pain, balance the nervous system, and optimize one’s fascia and the brain-body connection.

Course Outline:
You will learn:
- How the connective tissue in your body gets dehydrated, the common aches and pains it can cause, and how to rehydrate this essential system in your body for vibrant health and pain-free movement.
- How to connect to your internal body sense to make neurological changes body-wide
- Quick and simple treatments for Hands, Forearms and Shoulders using the MELT Hand and Foot Therapy Ball Kit and Resistance Band
- Facial Gua Sha and Acupressure treatments for the Face, Head, Neck and Chest using a Facial Gua Sha flat stone and facial oil to remove tension, improve circulation and skin tone, and calm the nervous system
- Muscle strengthening exercises for hands, neck and face
- To use MELT to prehab/rehab your body to reduce pain and increase performance
Participants will be expected to:
- Purchase the Required Materials: MELT Workshop Kit from emikooyoga.com/shop; Facial Oil; Facial Gua Sha flat stone tool
- Practice the treatments from class as homework during the week with provided handouts and pre-recorded short videos
- Journal how your body feels before/after the treatments
