Intro
By limiting the abundance of options, we open up new, enriching prospects in design. When we focus on a smaller range of tools and materials our focus undergoes a shift, creating a fairground of fertility for novel ways to use them.
By limiting the abundance of options, we open up new, enriching prospects in design. When we focus on a smaller range of tools and materials our focus undergoes a shift, creating a fairground of fertility for novel ways to use them. We will be applying a variety of ‘expansion principles’ as we use saws and scissors to coax sheet metal (copper, brass or steel) out of its flatness and into the three dimensions of space. These techniques cause the sheet metal to unfurl, expand or disintegrate into an incredible variety of shapes and structures both by chance and by deliberate design,

And this is how new things come into being: Ideas adapt and evolve; they rest, sprout forth, and intertwine. Our curiosity is our impetus, our senses our compass, and our material our medium.

Every moment is our goal.
