There are many options how to deal with surface treatment in jewelry design: in the workshop with Stefano Marchetti you will arrange metal elements rhythmically like in a collage until you will achieve vibrant fields of color. The results will be unique and move between filigree and mosaic. The Italian jewelry designer will open up insights for you how to develop small spaces or forms through addition and structure. Clearly defined forms or dissolving fragments present minimalist patterns which show the richness of various shades and contrasts of metal colors.
While working and discussing with Stefano Marchetti you will achieve unique results which tell about the characteristics of different alloys and metals and the ways how the objects are made. This kind of surface design is rooted in the characteristic properties of the material and is the starting point for intriguing patterns and variations.
> The course will be conducted in English language.
