Till Baacke: 3D Design on the Computer Rhino©

This CAD workshop provides instruction in the basic applications of Rhinoceros© CAD software. You will become familiar with an intuitively usable program that is relatively easy to learn for designers. In a constant alternation between demonstrations and your own attempts, the visual tools required to build pieces of jewellery and objects will be presented and practiced. You will learn to construct objects out of lines and connect these with planes to form virtual objects. These volumes can be altered, interlocked, and combined into finished objects. The data can be exported to plot a model and mill it with the aid of the rapid prototyping process. 
The course is divided into three days of basic instruction and one day for producing an individual, simple model on the PC. In the wake of the workshop, your data can be used by a service to produce 3D models in solid material.
