The 2020 Growth & Evolution International Art Jewellery Exhibition was Successfully Concluded

The 2020 Growth & Evolution international art jewellery exhibition was curated by Herman Sun who is an international jeweller, industry expert, national museum curator, international gallery founder and judge of some international exhibition. The exhibition has received wide support both at home and abroad. From well-known academic and institutions, including the Royal College of Art, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, China Academy of Art, Shanghai Academy of Fine Art and Nanjing University of the Arts etc.
The exhibition has called for entrance since November 2019 and had received thousands of works from over 35 countries. Eventually 150 international artists have been selected, with a total of 400 outstanding works. All works had arrived Yunnan, China in early 2020.

The original opening on 14 February 2020 was postponed due to the impact of the epidemic. In the meantime, Herman Sun opened the Hope and Future international art jewellery documentary program, invited jewellery artists to record their professional practice during the outbreak, and edited into a documentary. The documentary released online by Klimt02 and DBC International designer space, which are also reproduced by many art institutions and relevant network platforms. Offline, the documentary was exhibited in Beijing International Design Week. The exhibition has received extensive attention and reports by Beijing Daily, China Gold and Jewelry Magazine.

Due to the effective control of the epidemic in China, the exhibition was successfully held during Beijing International Design Week and was opened to the public as an important event in the dongcheng District of Beijing. Collaborated with the Uruguay embassy in Beijing, Shanghai Erdaoqiao cultural tourism Group and some jewellery enterprises, Herman Sun organized an international art jewellery summit during the Chinese National holiday. The summit has shown the results of the show and introduced the future plan. the Uruguay embassy cultural counsellor Mercedes Aguiar and the Chinese cloisonne jewellery master Xubin Huo have given an incredible speech during the summit.

In addition, Herman Sun has reached a cooperation with China Modern Publishing House Limited, which published the results of the exhibition in hardcover. The book designed and edited by Jun Xie and Yuzhuo Fu. The cultural and creative product and editing of the exhibition were designed and executed by Yaxin Zhao and Fanrun Meng.
With the successful conclusion of The 2020 Growth & Evolution international art jewellery exhibition, the new open call for 2021 is also under planning, which is expected to be released at the end of November 2020.
