Intro
I hope people could enjoy my jewellery style and aesthetic, feel subcultural from the design, crafts and materials. In the contemporary world, an innovative concept is very important, but I love to do more on my contemporary style and subcultural aesthetics.
What's local and universal in your artistic work?
Most of my jewellery works refer to sub-cultures, from my origin as well as worldwide, from materials to techniques.

What do you expect when you show your work to the public (for example, with an exhibition)?
I hope people could enjoy my jewellery style and aesthetic, feel subcultural from the design, crafts and materials. In the contemporary world, an innovative concept is very important, but I love to do more in my contemporary style and subcultural aesthetics.

How important is handmade for you in your development? What role does technics and technology play in your development?
Handmade is super important for me I think. Most of my work is handmade. I enjoy the creating and making process; I love to develop new metal techniques and design innovative jewellery tools, but I believe the aesthetic of the final works is more than the technical level. I hope people can enjoy subculture and minority style from my works, my minority sub-culture is my contemporary jewellery world.

When do you start making a new piece what is your process? How much of it is a pre-formulated plan and how much do you let the material spontaneity lead you?
For real jewellery life, most of my jewellery collections are customisation from different customers. They bring their story or materials, then I put my style in; they like my style, I like my customers. My work style is also my lifestyle, it records my feeling, record my life.

Are there any other areas besides the jewels present in your work?
Besides my jewellery and gemstones, I do as a traveller and blogger about my nomadic life. Life is a journey, which cannot be stopped.

How important is wearability in contemporary jewellery? And in your pieces?
I think the wearability of jewellery is very important all the time, from ancient to contemporary. It is one of the jewellery identity. Most of my works are wearable and durable in material chosen. I think contemporary art can push jewellery boundary forward, but jewellery name is JEWELLERY .

The last work, book, film, city that moved me was…
I am a dyslexia man, so not a reader, but I like to travel. I have been in 64 countries already, the most moved me the area is South America, the special city is Cusco, Peru. I like cultures, there is a heaven for me, and the musician Ricardo Montaner is my favourite one.

What/who is the biggest influence in your career?
My customers.

Which piece or job gave you more satisfaction?
Educator or Stylist.

What is your source to get information?
Online, exhibitions and friends.

Considering the experiences you have had over the years, if you could go back and give yourself a piece of advice for the start-up phase, what would that be?
Work hard, play hard.
