. Metsik means wild in Estonian. This series is inspired from animals who inhabit the forests of Estonia. Portraits of these animals are cut from aluminium sheets, using water cutting technology. Aluminium pieces are then anodized. Through the use of this technique, a strong layer forms on the material, which then allows the material to be coloured in vibrant, pastel and deep tones.
