. Research into graffiti and how we leave a mark in this world led to the exploration of ancient graffiti carved into church walls, often as symbols of protection. Taking imprints directly from these marks and including her own marks, Belinda used the process of casting to recreate them as contemporary jewellery. Casting maintains the authenticity and connection with both her and the original marks and their meaning. .
