. My work combines contrasting themes such as abstract structures, minimalist compositions and finding beauty in unexpected aspects of buildings. The ‘nu’ collection is designed focussing in on one of the primary principles of Brutalist architecture -the naked construction. This collection is designed to make people think about the complex forms and shapes that are often fabricated to create a minimalist or simplistic forms. The collection is very much inspired by minimalism both in terms of material, colour and fittings – much like brutalist architecture..
