Within our current society, we all strive for an ideal image. This is unrealistic because ideal images are constantly fluctuating; they need exclusivity to last. My frustration lies in the fact that everything must be perfect. Within the jewellery field, I started looking at the imperfections of the body. This led me to a temporary damage to the skin that we know as bruises. I have created instruments that allow for the intimate application of minor round bruises in decorative patterns that reach a jewellery level.
