Taking over a year to complete, the complexity has been achieved by layering and arranging these small yet intricate forms and fixing them to a clay core before firing them in the kiln. The fragility of its tiny component pieces imbues the work with a magical quality. Their careful composition creates a sense of bursting, radiant energy across the work’s surface, evoking a symphony.
