A fascinating and alert animal, armed with needles toward the outside world, and completely curled up and hiding in their own world. But something remarkable happens when they feel safe, when they feel trusted and when they are surrounded by love. It opens up, is soft and warm and allows the other to come near. I made a ring of silver, oxidized to get a scary appearance. But the touch and feel will be different from the metal, just soft, due to the silicon. At the places where the rings touches the skin, it colours to a tender red.".
