This idea of repetition is a key element of my work: structurally through the use of the chain, visually through various repetitive elements that allude to the natural occurrence of seeds en masse and also the growth of plant-life. Having the ability to transform the state, a seed can be a visual embodiment of energy stored, later transformed into growth and movement in plants. Much of my work contains kinetic energy through the use of dangling elements and flowing chains..
