Statement: The concept of my work focuses on the similarities and differences between the communicative function of gossip and jewelry. In my opinion, gossip is not only positive or negative, it is a multifaceted behaviour. It will not only hurt people but also become a communication tool to help people carry out social activities. After doing some research on gossip, I found gossiping as a way of communication has a certain commonality with the communication between designers and audience through jewelry. In the process of studying my project, I analyzed the different communication characteristics of gossip, and extracted four representative characteristics from it, namely, the characteristics of communication, harmfulness, reducing pressure and narrowing people's distance.
