Necklace: Qishan·Beiming by Liqi Chen.Silver, paper.. 2018.30 x 30 x 3 cm.The phoenix tweet in Qishan and fish exist in the Beiming.The inspiration comes from the phoenix and the Kunpeng which turns into bird from fish in the Chinese ancient tales of legendia. The feather of the phoenix and the squama of the Kunpeng are the sources of inspiration in my work. Extract them out and make regular arrangements repeatedly. The different and rhythmed beauty of rhythm is produced. Red and blue are the theme of my work..
