Holding Crown by Lovisa Hed
Published: 20.05.2019
My degree project has been a study of emotional, mental and in general non-physical scars that people carry with them. The materiality of non-physical scars has been my focus in this project.
What happens after something has caused us non-physical harm? How do we deal with it? How do we deal with others’ experiences of this? Special emphasis is placed on the processes and emotions after the event. This study departs from a number of conversations with 20 people; the closeness between the body and the non-physical scar in these conversations is very important in my making.
