We can express our feelings, and state of mind with tears.
Scientifically tears are divided into three different types, based on their origin. Basal tears, reflex tears and emotional tears. Tears brought about by emotions have a different chemical make-up than Reflex and Basal tears.
Emotional tears contain more of the protein-based hormones prolactin, adrenocorticotropic hormone, and Leu-enkephalins, a natural painkiller. No tears are identical and you can't tell if a tear is brought by in anger, sorrow or happiness. These tears of gold are all individual, and their karat are kept a secret. I will make it up to you to decide if your Gold Tear refer to a sad or happy memory, or simply caused by the action of peeling an onion.
