My practice explores the way language functions in the creation of individual social identity through constant micro- negotiations. My objects reference familiarity and are designed to be physically engaged with. I’d like my work to quietly trigger subtle individual responses in the viewer, much like the narratives that surround us constantly shift and challenge our belief system.
