Gallium is a fascinating metal solid until 30 degrees, then it melts. It is mainly produced and refined in China, Germany and Japan. It is a key element for advanced electronics in the defence industry and also used in nuclear bombs to stabilise plutonium. China has restricted gallium exports. When the temperature is high enough, the gallium gets liquid and moves inside the hollow cabs.
