Home Window by Oles Tsura

This brooch was born from a longing for a place that remains—no matter how far one travels. Home Window is a quiet piece of jewellery that carries the memory of the Carpathians: mist-covered fir forests, soft light filtering through small windows, and the stillness only mountains know.
Crafted from green serpentine, stainless steel, and 925 silver, the brooch takes the shape of a flattened rectangle with gently rounded corners and four openings in the center— resembling a window. The deep green of the serpentine reflects the forests of my homeland and holds within it a sense of homesickness—not as sorrow, but as a gentle echo of belonging.
Home Window is a fragment of origin and remembrance. It invites the viewer to pause, to look through, and perhaps to rediscover a sense of home within themselves.
