. I love Niello. And I love Gold - of course. Both materials contrast in a mysterios and unusual manner with each other. The pure and simple shapes I use in my designs emphasize this contrast and assign more importance to the surface.
. I found out about Niello during a workshop with Petra Zimmermann in 2017. Fascinated by this unique technique i decided to design my diploma project with Niello and write my thesis about it. The Niello I used for this necklace was made by myself according to the recipe of Maestro Philip Sajet..
