. The quote "I am (not) a jewellery designer" is my conclusion after a year of artistic research into contemporary jewellery. My research began when I started questioning the current (in my view, somewhat pretentious) state of the art jewellery field and an urge to engage "outsiders" in the wonders of art jewellery. Towards the end of this year of research, during which I tried to grasp everything in the light of my undergraduate thesis, my very clear vision of wanting to change the jewellery world shifted into an acknowledgement of my own position towards the jewellery field. .
