Statement: This project comes from my reflection on personal consumption behavior under the prevalence of consumerism. Consumer culture urges everyone to unconsciously change their consumption choices. It used to be "I buy what because of who I am," but now more and more we are defining "who I am" by "what I consume." This culture encourages people to constantly pursue new consumer goods in order to satisfy their spiritual happiness. Too much marketing advertising, too much material temptation, too much personal time for consumption choices. Who is being consumed?
