Some years ago I saw in the northwest desert of China a series of beautiful salt lakes, scattered like stars. Perforating the desert with little oases’, like pockets of hope. After seeing this, I found my loose self.Over the years, I have kept myself updated on the condition of the salt lakes that inspired me, but it was heartbreaking to discover that they are disappearing due to human exploitation.
The salt lakes need protection and attention. We as humans must respect and protect nature and in return, we may enjoy its love in the form of an infinite beauty.
Through my work, I hope to bring awareness and increase people’s attention and care to the disappearing salt lakes.
