層層疊疊，數以千計，雀鳥生來便披著一身絨羽，其可謂同時扮演外衣和飾品的角色。於鳥類而言，羽毛有保護作用，卻更關乎虛榮，若有嚴重缺損甚至可引發自卑心理。於我此等，無論是以其精神意義還是美學角度來看，羽毛都甚有藝術價值。
是次創作以紙雕技藝作引子，用與紙張大相逕庭的不鏽鋼製成模擬羽毛的衍生創作物，並依此基底進行後續創作。項鏈中的重複起伏產生動態與韻律感，加上圓潤的部件造型稍稍減低了鋼鐵材質的機械性，使作品時現珍珠項鏈的「錯覺」，且盛載令佩戴者自覺優雅的希冀。
Feathers of birds formed an insulating layer to maintain body temperature and protected the skin. They are also being the important structural parts of the birds' flight. In addition, its colors and markings is protective coloration.
Yet feathers are much more than functional parts, with its various colors, patterns and textures, feathers happened to be clothing and ornament at the same time. For birds it is a matter of pride; for me it is a matter of aesthetics. Refer to the technique of paper sculpting; I have obtained inspiration to reproduce the feathers’ layering. Those small components are meaningless individuals until I linked them together. The repetition created rhythm, as well as convenience for adjustment.
