My project focus on the relationship with my grandmother. She passed away six years ago. Unfortunately, I was not by her side. As time went by, I found that my memories with her started to fade away.
I noticed memories can be preserved in numerous ways, and I decided to do it with jewellery. I believe that I can use jewellery to keep my precious memories with my grandmother.
I choose the kite shape as the basic shape for my jewellery. My hometown is the world's kite capital, and kites were the most important object for my grandmother. I wanted to use kites as a medium to connect us.
