Ethnic Jewellery: from Africa, Asia and Pacific Islands

Van der Star ethnical jewellery collection is unique, in quality and quantity. The book brings together pieces from Africa, India, Asiatic Surest, Pacific Islands and the Arabic world. Each one of this area has his ones drawings with symbolism connected to jewellery. Gold, silver, and different precious stones were used in these pieces, but also coral, bones, teeth and shells. In this book are presented more than 500 pieces with details description.

La colección étnica de joyería de Van der Star es única, en calidad y cantidad. El libro reúne piezas de África, de la India, de las islas del Pacífico, sureste Asiatico y del mundo Árabe. Cada una de estas áreas tiene sus propios dibujos donde el simbolismo conecta con la joyería.
