Beate Leonards works in a vocabulary of reduced aesthetic harmony. Her designs, often coming from sculptural issues are abstract objects and vessels that rely heavily on their translation into the appropriate materials.
In her silversmith´s studio she produces vessels out of silver, bronze, aluminum and the brass-alloy gilding metal, tombac.
