Intro
Curated by Ludovik Colpaert and Hilde De Decker, the teachers of Sint Lucas Antwerpen’s Studio Sieraad present Dim Glim at ArtTelex with works by around forty students, alumni, and tutors from Sint Lucas Antwerpen.
Step into the flickering light of our young lives—the exhibition Dim Glim offers a tender yet fearless look at everyday chaos—part glitter, part gloom. A place with moods that shift like lip gloss, where charm works as super glue. Through moments both cute and cruel, the exhibition captures the complex glow of growing up—not too bright, never fully dark. With jewellery that simply wants to adorn. Sweet and naughty.

One last thing about the venue ArtTelex during Obsessed!: it is Antwerp’s best-kept secret, discreetly nestled in the very heart of the city. The original shop sold sheet music for over 40 years and left its interior untouched for just as long. Renamed ArtTelex by Wilfried Van Hasselt, the space now offers a platform to young artists in search of a place to exhibit their work.

If you’re left feeling hungry—literally or figuratively—after your visit, the area around ArtTelex is home to some exceptional local spots, such as Bateau Perdu (Oude Beurs 46) for food, or the unique bead shop of Ingeborg D’hoker (Wolstraat 17).
