Eero Lintusaari
Instead of verbalising my deep thoughts, drawing is the most innate means of expressing my ideas. Small moments, visions, dreams and history are the materials that most likely become transferred on paper. Only a fraction of this material is developed and refined, and actually turns into jewellery. I work slowly and make a lot of experiments. I try to find new and unexpected solutions.
I don't have a goldsmith's education. I have proceeded in my work through trial and error. The benefit of this is that I don't have the burden of the traditional aspects typical for this branch of craft. Various materials are equally valued in my work, and it is easy for me to move from one material to another.
