Willemstijn’s new jewellery flourishes on such fertile ground. She is not concerned with weighing up what is sensible or not, with making judgments about beautiful or ‘right’. Instead she works with only the expressiveness of the materials she chooses. With Willemstijn, history is always a part of the creative process.
