Heather Guidero
Jewelers'Werk Galerie is pleased to present a special holiday show of artist-jeweler Heather Guidero's current collection from December 1 through December 30, 2023.
Come to meet the artist on Friday, 1st and Saturday, December 2nd, from 11 am to 5 pm.
The graphic lines, textures, and patterns of Heather Guidero's work are inspired by elements of modernist design, fashion, and urban architecture translated into ethically-sourced gold and silver. This collection especially features pieces that are accented by vibrant, luminous opals. Innately wearable, Guidero’s creations are original explorations of volume, movement, and pattern that transform into personal and interactive sculpture on the body.
Trained at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Heather Guidero worked as a goldsmith for renowned jewelry company Reinstein & Ross in New York before returning to Providence in 2005 to launch her own studio. Guidero's work has been featured at prominent museums and galleries across the country including the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco.
The exhibition is open during gallery hours: Monday through Saturday 11 am – 5 pm or by appointment.
