Intro
In the exhibition PEZZI DI LUNA in Maribor Slovenia there are 11 artists of the first edition : Joanne Grimonprez, Maria Rosa Franzin, Mari Ishikawa, Kazumi Nagano, Natasa Grandovec, Pilar Garrigosa, Fabrizio Tridenti, Adrean Bloomard, Graziano Visintin, Maurizio Stagni
In this presentation we can show the new artists.
MUSIC AND CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY on the theme of the MOON in the Betnava Mansion - European Cultural and Technological Center Maribor, Slovenia - Director Dragica Marinic.

The exhibition will be inaugurated with: a Live Concert and the Jewellery Exhibition.
The musicians of the Good Vibes Quartet will launch their latest album called:
”Pezzi di Luna“ (Moon Pieces) (Cat Sound Records) produced by the Ass.Cult.Statale 11 (Cultural Association “Statale 11”) with new arrangements and new interpretations of 11 all-time greats, some from the American jazz tradition Moon Ray, Blue Moon, Moonlight Serenade, Moonglow, How High the Moon, Claro de Luna, Moon and Sands, No Moon at All, Moonlight in Vermont and others from the classics of Italian music Guarda che luna, Tintarella di Luna .

Each work of art displayed will be directly connected to a piece of music from the CD. The project will also be illustrated and documented in a slip-case containing: the CD “Pezzi di Luna” and the catalogue.

The exhibition will display the works dedicated to the Moon by 22 Italian and foreign contemporary jewellery artists. 

Twenty-two display cases will be set up bearing the title of a piece presented in the live inauguration concert. Later, the photos and videos of the concert will be projected and the music from the CD will be available the days the show will be open.
