In 2015, jewelry artist Heidemarie Herb curated the travelling exhibition Amber Chamber, which featured works incorporating amber by both artists long familiar with the material and those for whom it was entirely new. The exhibition was showcased in Luxembourg, Poland, the United States, Italy, Lithuania, and Austria.

In 2025, Heidemarie Herb, together with Lithuanian curator Jurgita Ludavičienė, presents a second exhibition, Unexpected Amber: Strong Feelings, which brings together European and Lithuanian myths, once again confronting artists with amber. The exhibition features 20 jewelry artists from 8 countries—artists who have mastered working with amber, alongside those who have previously avoided it.
