A show running during Joya Barcelona 2018, where diverse typologies of objects will cohabitate under the same roof, creating a dialogue between installation, jewellery, sculpture, paintings and prints. Plus, during the days of the exhibition, some activities will take place, such as an open table to experiment with the visitors and live music.
Artist list
Stephanie Barbie, Eva Burton, Trinidad Contreras, Agustín Eyssartier, Judy McCaig, Tabea Reulecke
The works of "Into The Woods" come from two complementary readings of the word "forest" and take it to denominate different meanings. They say, for example: the forest is the City that vibrates and the relationships that it entails. They say: the forest is the Unconscious and the Night. This is a heterogeneity that does not separate them but, on the contrary, group and places them in a shared space. It could be labelled as an interdisciplinary space, although what stands out is the will to be close, get together and dialogue within that great surrounding space that remains boundless and unnamed.

Making our show during the JOYA Barcelona 2018 - one of the most significant contemporary jewellery events, our aim is that diverse typologies of objects cohabitate under the same roof, creating a dialogue between jewellery, paintings, sculptures and prints. The artists embrace the Woods from different perspectives to find connections and differences between each other but with the firm mission of exchanging and bonding ideas and experiences.
For stimulating participation and fun, different activities will be held each day for those curious visitors.
We want to invite you to join this adventure. How deep do you dare to go Into The Woods?
Collaborating artists:
Gemma Draper, Fede Paltrinieri and Guillermo Piñero.
