ALLIAGES (a non-profit organization of Contemporary Art Jewelry) organizes an exhibition to be on hold from December 2020 to May 2021 (*) at ALLIAGES Gallery in Lille, France (from mid-December 2020 to end February 2021 & from end March to mid-May 2021) and during Schmuck 2021 event (March 10-14th, 2021). More dates and destinations may be added to the schedule during all year 2021. A paper publication will be done at the end of the exhibition and the artists selected participating in all dates will have a free copy. Each artist will have an individual page for this exhibition. A virtual exhibition might be done during the year.
(*) Dates schedule will be sent to the selected artists.

The exhibition theme is Painful Hope, and each artist may submit his/her own vision of the subject.

Artists working in Contemporary Art Jewelry can apply for this exhibition with a maximum of 3 finished works (works sent in the application form are those that will be exposed, drafts are not accepted). Applications must imperatively be sent via the dedicated form on the ALLIAGES website and will contain all requested data. Other ways to submit will not be taken into consideration. If data sent is wrong or incomplete, the application will be cancelled.

Submission deadline:
Thursday, 15 Oct 2020 (Midnight). Applications sent after the deadline will not be accepted. Only one application per artist will be accepted (first application sent).

Application fee:
A fee of 13 € will be requested for the application when the application sent up to 4 Oct (1 to 3 works). A fee of 18 € will be requested if the application is sent from 5 Oct to the end of the call.

Exhibition Fee:
The selected artists will pay a participation fee of 65 € (sixty-five Euros) to participate in both events (Lille & Munich, mid December 2020 to mid May 2021). This amount will include the mandatory membership to the organization during the time of the exhibition. Any delay in the payment implies the exclusion of the artist from the exhibition. All taxes or payment charges will be at the artist's charge. If new destinations are added after Munich, each destination will have a small fee (30-45 €/each). Fees are not reimbursed for any reason.

Entry criteria:
The artist may present freely his vision of the theme with a free choice of media/materials/size. Works presented must be original, one-of-a-kind created within the last 2 years, and never showed before at the ALLIAGES gallery or in Schmuck. Up to 3 artworks can be submitted by each artist. Works can be to sell or only to show (not for sale).

Applications will be selected for 25 Oct 2020 latest date. Artists candidates will be informed of the curator’s choice by email (positive or negative) and the list of selected artists will be published in the organization social media pages. The selected works will be displayed at the gallery managed by ALLIAGES in Lille (France) and in Schmuck 2021 event. Additional destinations may be added afterward (the participation of the new destinations is not mandatory). The exhibition is curated by Juan Riusech (contemporary art jeweller, curator, and founder of ALLIAGES).
