Coaching helps you shift the focus from external influences to inward dispositions.

To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities. / Bruce Lee.
Article by : Niki Stylianou

Are we truly co-creators of our lives? Are we really capable of creating our life's script? For many, the idea that we can reshape our lives to reflect our deepest dreams seems impossible to accept. For, if we are really creators, then, why is it that our life's circumstances are in direct opposition to our innermost desires?
Greece is going lately through an economic hardship. Nobody can deny that for a lot of people times are very difficult; for Artists, too. But often - if not always - challenging times bring with them unexpected possibilities.  It is all up to the individual to decide whether he’ll become the victim or he’ll grab the chance to reaffirm his desire for happiness by re-writing his script, his dreams, his passions, his options, his talents, his unique message.
It’s easy to get locked into a reactive mindset. It’s easy to drift along with whatever is happening around you; with what other people do. You react to whatever is going on and so you get lost in your circumstances. You tend to feel powerless, small, unhappy. Being proactive on the other hand is a much healthier approach to life. To create opportunities despite one’s external circumstances, feels empowering, liberating; although, it can be scary too. Exploring one’s highest potential entails taking the lead and making changes; but responsibility and change are always scary.
An intensive three-day workshop hosted by Niki Stylianou and directed by Charon Kransen from Charon Cransen Arts, could help you take that first step towards your proactive self, feel the fear but claim your strongest desires anyway. Although we’ll be addressing issues intimately connected to Jewelry Makers professionals from all fields of Arts, Crafts and Design are eligible to attend. Having participated in the two previous workshops with Charon Kransen is not a necessary requirement in order to join this coming one.
Topics to be discussed:
-Who am I? What do I want or choose to express through my work? Am I clearly expressing what I want or choose to express?
-The inner critique and how do I silence him.
-Feel the fear and act anyway
-Authenticity and Identity
-Love is in the details
The third day of the workshop each participant will have the opportunity to present his/her work and discuss openly his/her inspirations, intentions, hindrances and challenges. Feedback will be given and new possibilities may arise from sharing experiences and viewpoints.
