Intro
In your design processes, you use different materials in relation to your idea, the technical implementation, and the design you are aiming for.
In the workshop with Melanie Isverding you will look at the semantics of the material beneath the surface. You will find out how the choice of material can support your ideas on different levels. The aim is to express your handwriting as a significant sign. If you succeed in transforming material into a specification, an originality, a symbolism, this recognisability develops. In interactive uses of material, you explore its material qualities and make these potentials legible.

Language: German and English.
Duration: Monday to Thursday 9 am – 6 pm. 40 Teaching hours.
Fee: 590 €, not incl. materials.
Course Number: 3603474
