When the postcard arrived in the mail she glanced down at the image, thinking “Typical, a cute little kitten in the spotlight. Give me a break! They are all over the internet with their super sweet antics, playing the piano, chasing shadows or toying with a ball of string - but are we just being fooled? Is this all just a distraction from what is really going on? Is it a trick?”

Sometimes it’s the things that sit just outside the limelight that demand a closer look. Like that odd movement caught in your peripheral vision or the light that spills out from behind the moon during a full solar eclipse. Perhaps it’s things caught in the shadows and working behind the scenes that really make the difference. As the folded light fell upon a shinny dullness in the distance, finally, she could see it clearly.
