Intro
My jewelry works look more like compact installation arts, primitive art is my source of creative inspiration. It’s abstract and far from reality, but it is precisely the closest to spirituality, strong vitality, and fired on all sides. In some ways, it is closer to the essence of art. This is also an important symbol of internationality in my works.
Do you think that jewellery is being standardized? What is there of local and universal in your artistic work?
The human being is always regarded as a thing. It is described as a worker, a professor, a doctor, a director, etc.define it with the method of defining the objects in nature or the industrial products. However, the human being is not a thing, so it can not be defined with the method of defining a thing. Even though, the human being is always regarded as a thing. The human being is defined by its social status. The people of modern industrialized societies already become a tool or machine, they wear jewelry also tend standardization.
My jewelry works look more like compact installation arts. Materials selected are very unique and rich, some of which are masterpieces of China's prehistoric ancestors: ancient jade, pottery, bronze ware, coloured glaze, etc. From these ancient remains, we can perceive the Chinese nation’s culture and art for five thousand years. The antiquities, buried for thousands of years and influenced by various kinds of force such as land erosion, humidity, temperature, chemical, physical, etc., have already become a part of nature. I respect their natural states, use other matching materials such as shells, fossils, bones, woods existing for billions of years and rearrange them together. My jewelry works look more like compact installation arts, primitive art is my source of creative inspiration. It’s abstract and far from reality, but it is precisely the closest to spirituality, strong vitality, and fired on all sides. In some ways, it is closer to the essence of art. What do you expect when exposing your work to the public (for example with an exhibition)?
I expect the viewers will find the unconscious complex and happiness in the works, and find the representation of the symbolic representation. To think about the relation between human and nature, to think about the connection of the souls in the universe, to awaken the deep power in people's hearts and endless affection for the world.

Are other areas besides the jewellery, present in your work?
In addition to jewelry works, I also produce sculptures. At the same time, I plan, design and produce art engineering projects about museums.

The last work, book, film, city that has moved me was…
The movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. It stimulates people's nerves in a very peaceful way.

A place, space, country whose creativity surprises me…
Le Corbusier's Ronchamp Chapel, the architect used mud to create a symbol of the imaginary and spiritual world.

Is there any designer, jeweller, artist, you appreciate a lot?
My favorite sculptor Henry Moore, artist Anselm Kiefer.
Anselm Kiefer’s works are full of tension and shocking people. Full of intense and melancholy beauty. His revelation of the human psychological level is like doing biological anatomy.

What piece or work has given you the most satisfaction?
Materials of my works are various. And they are organically combined together. I am their slave.

Do you read Jewellery Magazines? What is your source to get information?
I hardly read jewellery magazines and if I needed information I would go through online media.

Do you discuss your work with other jewellery artists or any other person?
Yes, When people come to my studio to visit and are interested in my work, they will tell me how he feels and will discuss my works with me.

What is your first thought when you hear the word Future? What do you expect for?
The first thing that comes to mind is the children's health, happiness and freedom. We hope that the world can pay attention to the growth of children and the growth of happiness. We also expect my creativity to be more powerful.
