Bio

Taia Tasman is a jewelry designer, the creator of artistic jewellery, and the founder of Tasman Jewelry Design. Her work sits at the intersection of jewelry design, contemporary art and digital technology.

She entered the jewellery field in 2016, is a self-taught jewelry designer, and her approach developed independently through her work. Her early designs were rooted in minimalism and clean geometry, but over time this approach evolved into more complex structures, sculptural volumes, and a freer exploration of form.

Today her work cannot be defined by a single style. It brings together a range of artistic and architectural influences, with each piece developing its own visual identity. Her visual influences are wide-ranging, including Art Deco, futurism, biomorphic forms, constructivism and parametric design, while individual pieces may also draw on surrealism, geometric abstraction, architectural sculpture, etc…

Statement

Bespoke commissions are an important part of Taia Tasman's practice. A piece may begin with someone's idea, a visual reference or a personal symbol, while others are developed entirely from scratch. The process considers not only the appearance of the jewelry but also its construction, materials, gemstones and intended use.

Since 2022, artificial intelligence has become part of the design process, allowing her to explore visual possibilities and rapidly test combinations of volumes, materials, stylistic elements and spatial structures. AI renders serve as starting points for further development, while the designer still controls selection, refinement, proportions and structural logic.
