. Green Lotus pods have a closed and slightly uneven surface with the seeds being embedded in their flesh. Once the pods start to ripen, the surface breaks open, forming irregular edged cups containing the seeds. While the pods themselves shrink, the walls of the cups stand up and out.finding it can then be worn close to the heart..
