Vlastimil Šenkýř's project “Lapis philosophorum” impressed the jury by its obscuring the boundaries between nature and art. The works appear like alchemical products in which nature, art and science meet and therewith document the proximity in which these areas are currently located and inspire each other. At the same time they fascinate by their at the first glance almost inconspicuous appearance, which then reveals itself to be magnificent and of brilliant colour.
